Installing Micro-Generation Systems: A Guide To Best Practice

Micro-generation is the production of heat, electricity or both on a small scale from a low carbon source. Many of the technologies use renewable sources, such as solar and wind power, whilst others continue to use fossil fuels, but with greater efficiency than conventional systems. Although many people have already installed micro-generation technologies in their properties, its use is set to become increasingly popular. As a consequence, solar hot-water panels, domestic-sized wind turbines and photovoltaic arrays(PVs) will be a far more common sight in the future.
